Rodent control

When treating for rodents our technicians know what to look for. Firstly, a thorough inspection is carried through in order to identify the species (whether it is a rat or a mouse). This is to understand what factors are attracting them and to observe where they are nesting/breeding. We also eliminate any potential entry points as well as reducing the population by placing bait and/or traps. We do prefer using bait stations (whether it is single or multiple feed bait) in order to eliminate a rodent problem as we have found it is more humane, faster and effective. For ongoing rodent problems, or if the rodent activity is high, we use external bait stations which are mounted around the outside of a building or property. These methods are weather proof as well.

Cockroaches

We use Gel bait to kill cockroaches individually or to control large populations. To kill pests individually, the bait is placed in specific places (under warm appliances etc) for ingestion. To control larger populations, the residual-contact bait attaches to a pest that returns to the remainder of the pests which in turn passes it to large numbers of the population, resulting in death

Termite control

We perform inspections and we employ monitoring stations. These are placed within soil with suspected infestations. After highly active areas are located, bait stations replace monitoring stations. Bait stations contain slow-acting baits that worker termites bring back and feed to the other members of their colonies. In time, several generations within a colony will be killed.

Spider control

We use a microencapsulated parathyroid insecticide (like Demand CS or EZ with iCAP technology). The microcaps encase the active ingredient (AI), allowing release of the AI in a slow, controlled manner. These capsules adhere well to the spider legs and webs, reaching the target pest. The microcaps also maintain their shape longer, ensuring that the product maintains effectiveness on porous surfaces longer, even when exposed to outdoor conditions. Research has shown that spiders tend to be more tolerant of insecticides than many other arthropods and that microcap formulations are more effective than other formulations of the same insecticide.

Bees Control & Ants Control

In the commercial environment ants are more than just a nuisance. They can cost you money and harm your reputation. This is particularly true in organisations that handle food or need to keep areas sterile.
Premises like pubs, restaurants, hospitals, offices, warehouses and other buildings that store food and water need to make sure they have the highest standards of hygiene, and that means being ant-free.
Without adequate ant control in your business you could suffer from:
 Waste - Contaminated food and other products will have to be thrown away, costing you money and resources.
 Fear - Infestations in places like hospitals and care homes can spread pathogens (e.g. Pharoah Ants) and alarm workers or residents and lead them to question your hygiene standards.
 Reputation Damage - If your reputation suffers so too will your profits, as customers are put off by the presence of ants.

Steps to Take to Effectively Get Rid of Ants
Our professional Pest Control Technicians understand the habits of different types of ants and can offer discreet and targeted ant control. It goes without saying that all our ant control treatments are safe for your staff and customers. Give us a call and we’ll set the following plan in motion to get rid of ants:

 Our pest control consultant will arrange a convenient time with you for a free inspection inside and outside your premises.
 The consultant will recommend a treatment plan based on your ant infestation and on your particular business sector, and give you a cost to put the plan into action.
 Once you’ve approved the price, the consultant will arrange times for a technician to visit. You may need several visits depending on the ant control treatment we use.
 On the first visit, the Technician will run through the treatment process before the work begins.
 We can also set up regular ant control inspections for you so the problem doesn’t come back.

Weed control

We use herbicides. Selective herbicides kill certain targets while leaving the desired crop relatively unharmed. Some of these act by interfering with the growth of the weed and are often based on plant hormones. Herbicides are generally classified as follows:

 Contact herbicides destroy only plant tissue that contacts the herbicide. Generally, these are the fastest-acting herbicides. They are ineffective on perennial plants that can re-grow from roots or tubers.
 Systemic herbicides are foliar-applied and move through the plant where they destroy a greater amount of tissue. Glyphosate is currently the most used systemic herbicide.
 Soil-borne herbicides are applied to the soil and are taken up by the roots of the target plant.
 Pre-emergent herbicides are applied to the soil and prevent germination or early growth of weed seeds.
